Judgment 1. This petition has been filed for quashing on the basis of compromise. 2. It is stated in the petition that petitioner No.1 was married to respondent No.2 on 22/1/2001, but on account of differences, FIR dated 14/1/2002, Annexure P-1, was lodged by respondent No.2. Thereafter, the matter has been compromised and respondent No.2 has resumed cohabitation with petitioner No.1. Respondent No.2 is present in court with counsel and confirms this averment. 3. In view of the above, proceedings in FIR No.8 dated 14/1/2002, under sections 498-A/406 IPC, Police Station Dhuri, are quashed. The petition is disposed of.
