ORDER : UPON hearing counsel the Court made the following I.A.No.1581-1583: 1. It is evident from the report of the CEC that the applicants were not holding valid licenses as on 4th March, 1997 and, in this view, there is no question of renewal of their licenses. The application is, accordingly, dismissed. I.A.No.1584-1586: 2. Issue notice to the State of Maharashtra. The MoEF shall also file its response to the application within four weeks. I.A.No.1587 in IA Nos.1274-1275: 3. The application is allowed. Order dated 24th March, 2006 is recalled and I.A.Nos.1274-1275 is restored to its original number. I.A.No.1591: 4. The applicant- Power Grid Corporation is permitted to erect two single circuit transmission lines of 765 K.V. within the Chambal-Ghariyal Sanctuary subject to its depositing, for the present, 5 per cent of the line cost of 4 km. which covers Chambal river for undertaking conservation and protection measures. The applicant would also take appropriate measures as recommended by CEC on which basis 5 per cent is to be worked out i.e. on the basis of the total project cost or only on the basis of line cost. The applicant would be heard further by the CEC and a reasoned order made. 7. The applicant would deposit the balance amount, if any, as may be directed. 8. Learned counsel for the applicant states that in the process of erection of the transmission line, no tree shall be felled. I.A.No.1150 in IA 1010 in IA 670 with IA 1458 in IA 1010: 9.
