ORDER Gohil, J. -- 1. This Public Interest Litigation petition has been filed for a short direction to the Municipal Corporation, Gwalior regarding development of the park situated at Block "C" Chetakpuri Colony, Gwalior. 2. Petitioner Arvind Agrawal is the Vice President of Red Cross Society, Gwalior. City Planner of the Municipal Corporation, Gwalior had written a letter dated 11.2.2004 (Annexure P-1) to the petitioner for development and beautification of the aforesaid park under Janbhagidari Yojna and an estimate of Rs. 50,000/- was prepared. Petitioner, by letter Annexure P-3 has consented for development and beautification of the said park and paid a sum of Rs. 25,000/- to the Municipal Corporation vide a cheque. 3. Contention of the petitioner is that even after his consent and payment of fifty percent of the estimated amount, the park is not being developed and beautified under the Janbhagidari Yojna. 4. Counsel for the respondent Municipal Corporation is not present. He has not tiled any reply. On 17.5.2006 Shri P.D. Bidua, Advocate for the respondent Municipal Corporation was present and in his presence, it was mentioned that the pleadings arc complete and he was believed to argue the petition finally. 5. Thus, considering the contention of the petitioner, this petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the Municipal Corporation, Gwalior to complete the development and beautification of the said park as per the scheme within a period of thirty days from today. Petitioner shall also cooperate and, if required, deposit the balance amount within a period of seven days from today. 6. With the aforesaid direction, this petition is disposed of finally.
