Judgment 1. This petition has been filed for quashing of FIR dated 8.12.2003 annexure P-1 on the basis of compromise. Case of the petitioners is that petitioner No.1 was married to respondent No.3 on 28.2.2003. On account of matrimonial differences, FIR was lodged and subsequently, the matter was settled between the parties, in pursuance of which decree of divorce dated 2.1.2006 Annexure P-3 has been granted. Affidavit of complainant in support of these averments is annexure p-4 dated 20.1.2006. Respondent No.3 is present with counsel, who also confirmed these averments. 2. In view of the above, proceedings in FIR No.481 dated 8.12.2003, under sections 498-A/406/506/34 IPC, Police Station Civil line, Hisar, are quashed. The petition is disposed of.
