ORDER : Dr. Arijit Pasayat and D.K. Jain, JJ. - The Union of India shall file an affidavit indicating following details:- 1. How many additional Judges have been made permanent Judge after 1.1.1999. 2. In how many cases additional judges have been made permanent Judges only on the basis of the recommendation of Hon'ble the Chief Justice of India. 3. In how many cases additional Judges were made permanent with the recommendation of collegium, if any. 2. Affidavit shall be filed within six weeks. 3. Call this matter in 3rd week of September, 2007.
