The petitioners are accused in case FIR No. 349/05 under Sections 498A/ 406/34, IPC registered at Police Station Srinivas Puri, Delhi, on a complaint by respondent No.2. The matter is still under investigation. In the meantime, the respondent No.2 and petitioner NO.1 have been able to sort out their differences and the respondent No.2 has, as a result, rejoined the company of petitioner No. 1. She states that she has been living happily with petitioner No. 1 since June, 2006. Now she has no complaint of any sort against the petitioners. In view of reconciliation, the respondents have no objection to the petition being granted. 4. Since the parties have reconciled and are living together with their six-year old female child, no useful purpose would be served by allowing the FIR in question to stand in their way. The petition is, in the circumstances, granted and FIR No. 349/05 under Sections 498A/406/34, IPC, P.S. Srinivas puri, New Delhi is quashed. 5. The petition is disposed of. Petition disposed of.
