Judgment :- S.J. Mukhopadhaya, J. This writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner being aggrieved by lorry and van parking near the School around "Sri Ramulu Naidu Park". 2. From the Notification dated 8th October, 2003, it appears that the Commissioner of Police, Greater Channai, Egmore, Chennai, in exercise of the power conferred under Section 115 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and the power delegated by G.O.Ms.No.793, dated 21st August, 2001, in the interest of public safety, convenience and to facilitate free flow of traffic, declared the area in and around Sri Ramulu Park as "No Parking Area" with effect from 12th September, 2003. 3. In the circumstances, the writ petition has now become infructuous. It is, accordingly, dismissed being infructuous. Connected W.P.M.P. is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
