Judgment :- Today, when this writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous, in view of the proceedings issued by the Tahsildar, Katpadi, dated 1. 2005, made in Nee.Mu.(B2) 7807/2004 D.K/18/1414, dropping the proposal for acquiring the petitioners lands in Survey Nos.540/1, 544/12 and 547/1 in Ilayanallur Village, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. 2. Based on the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
