JUDGMENT A.H. Joshi, J. Rule. Rule is made returnable forthwith by consent of parties. Heard. By this petition the petitioner sought direction to respondent No. 1 regarding entitlement of the petitioner for sale of 30,685 quintals of sugar. This Court on 21st February, 2007 had directed the respondents to make a statement as to within what time they are deciding the application of petitioner for permission to sell sugar. Learned Assistant Solicitor General Shri S. K. Mishra, who appears for respondent No. 1, makes a statement that the Commissioner of Sugar (Centre) shall decide petitioner's applications, dated 14.12.2006 and 30.12.2006 for permission to sell sugar within thirty days from today. This Court, therefore, makes Rule absolute and directs respondent No. 1 to decide petitioner's applications dated 14.12.2006 and 30.12.2006 within thirty days from today.
