JUDGMENT 1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of State of Maharashtra stated that the required affidavit shall be filed in course of the day. Let it be so done. 2. Place the matter on 1st May, 2007. Union Territory of Chandigarh: 3. It has been stated that out of 45 unauthorised occupants, 38 allottees have been already evicted. Out of the remaining seven cases, three persons have been regularised by making allotment to the dependents and three cases are pending before the High Court. Learned counsel appearing for the Union Territory of Chandigarh submitted that steps shall be taken for early disposal of cases pending before the High Court. So far remaining one person is concerned, it has been stated that eviction proceeding is going on. Let the same be expedited. 4. Further an affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Union Territory of Chandigarh stating therein that out of the outstanding dues of Rs.28,24,167/-, Rs.24,58,472/- of rent/penal rent have been recovered and steps have been already taken for balance amount of Rs.3,65,695/-. 5. Place the matter on 24th July, 2007.
