Judgment :- Heard Mr.J.Pothiraj the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Manoharan the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 2. It is submitted that the petitioner is the licensee of Satyabama Theatre situate at Main Road, Kovilpatti. The petitioner had applied for the grant of a No Objection Certificate from the respondent, on 38. 1998, to construct a mini theatre adjacent to the existing theatre. 3. The main contention of the petitioner is that in spite of the petitioner following all the necessary formalities, the respondent has not issued the No Objection Certificate as requested by the petitioner, in spite of several reminders. 4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent had submitted that the No Objection Certificate for the construction of a mini permanent theatre at T.S.No.20, Block-6,4.D.No.798, Main Road, Kovilpatti, Tuticorin District, had already been issued to the petitioner vide proceedings in R.Dis.No.C1.71831/98, dated 211. 1999. Hence, the writ petition has become infructuous and that no further orders are necessary to be passed by this Court. 5. Based on the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
