Judgment 1. The petitioners have filed this petition under Sec.438 of the code of Criminal Procedure for the grant of anticipatory bail in complaint titled Karan Singh versus Mukhtiar Singh and others, pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Amritsar, under Sec.3 (x) of the scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 read with Sections 323/524/506 IPC. 2. On February 5, 2007, after hearing counsel for the parties, interim anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioners subject to their appearing before the trial court and furnishing regular bail bonds to its satisfaction. 3. Counsel for the petitioners contends that in the aforesaid case, the petitioners have been falsely implicated by the complainant. She further contends that in the complaint, it has not been averred by the complainant that the petitioners were aware of the fact that the complainant was a scheduled Caste. 4. Counsel for the petitioners further states that in terms of the interim order dated February 05, 2007, the petitioners have appeared before the trial court and furnished their regular bail bonds, which have been accepted and attested and since then, they have been regularly appearing before the trial court. 5. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits, the interim bail, granted vide order dated February 05, 2007, is made absolute. Disposed of accordingly.
