Judgment 1. The petitioners have filed this petition under Sec.482 of the code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR No.260 dated 8.7.2005 under Sections 420, 406, 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Sadar, jalandhr, on the ground that the matter has been compromised between the parties. 2. After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioners states that since investigation in the aforesaid FIR is still pending, therefore, the petitioners may be permitted to withdraw this petition at this stage with liberty to convince the investigating agency that the matter has been compromised. Dismissed as withdraw at this stage with the aforesaid liberty.
