Balakrishnan, CJI., - The learned Amicus Curaie will consolidate the reports received from various Registrar Generals/Registrars of the High Courts and present the same before this Court on the next date of hearing. The Registrar Generals/Registrars of the High Courts of Maharashtra, Allahabad, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Assam, Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim, Chhattisgarh and Kerala are directed to furnish the report within four weeks. 2. Registry is directed to send a copy of this order to the concerned Registrar Generals/Registrars for compliance of the above direction. 3. List after summer vacation.
