body2008
JUDGMENT : This writ petition has been preferred for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction commanding upon the respondents to appoint the petitioners on the posts of Police Constable for which they had applied and were selected pursuant to test and interview by the duly constituted Selection Board under the Chairmanship of Superintendent of Police, Koderma and other S.S.P. The respondents in their counter affidavit and argument submits that they have explained the reasons as to why the people were not appointed. It will be, therefore, in the interest of justice for the respondents to communicate the reasons to the petitioner as to why they have not been appointed inspite of the fact that they were selected. The same should be done individually vis-à-vis the petitioners alone within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, assigning reasons. This writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of but without any order as to costs.
