Judgment :- It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners that the petitioners are Junior Assistants in the Rural Welfare Department. Show cause notices have been issued by the respondents asking the petitioners to show cause as to why they should not be discharged from service for having failed to pass the required tests in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.196, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, dated 3. 1981. At that time, the petitioners had filed the original applications in O.A.Nos.2232, 2234, 2435, 2439 and 2440 of 1996, respectively, and had obtained orders of interim stay of the impugned show cause notices, dated 23. 1996 and 14. 1996 and the interim orders are continuing till date. While so, the petitioners had passed the required tests and are continuing in service. Hence, He prays that the writ petitions may be dismissed as no further orders are required to be passed in the said writ petitions. 2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has not refuted the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. 3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing for the parties concerned, the writ petitions stand dismissed as no further orders are required to be passed in the writ petitions. No costs.
