Judgment :- 1. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in compliance with the order of this court dated 21.01.2003 made in W.P.No.5354 of 2000 as modified by the order dated 211. 2007 made in W.A.No.2399/2003, the petitioner was reinstated on 24.04.2008 and 50% of the back wages for the period of non-employment was also paid on 04.07.2008. The learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the correctness of the above said submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that regarding the correctness of the figure arrived at by the respondents representing 50% of back wages, the petitioner shall verify and take necessary steps to recover the balance, if any and that without prejudice to such a right of the petitioner, the contempt petition may be closed. Recording the above said submissions, the contempt petition is closed.
