Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsels appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. 2. Though the prayer is for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.02.2001, is directed to be disposed of by the respondent, within a specified period. 3. The learned Additional Government Pleader has no objection for this Court passing such an order. 4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing for the parties concerned, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.02.2001, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if it has not been disposed of till date. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation, dated 12.02.2001, to the respondent, along with a copy of this order. 5. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
