Judgment :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent. 2. This writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of certiorari, to call for the records relating to the impugned proceedings of the respondent in Na.Ka.No.7023/2002/C1, dated 1. 2003 and the subsequent order, dated 11. 2003, and to quash the same. 3. Even though the prayer in the writ petition is for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice if the respondent is directed to implement the impugned order, dated 1. 2003, suspending the licence of the petitioner from 111. 2008. 4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent had submitted that the petitioner had already suffered suspension of licence for one day, on 20.1.2003. The remaining 14 days of suspension of the licence, as specified in the impugned order, dated 1. 2003, is to be imposed on the petitioner. 5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, as well as for the respondent, the respondent is directed to implement the suspension of the licence of the petitioner, in accordance with the impugned order, dated 1. 2003, for the remaining period of 14 days, starting from 111. 2008. With the above directions, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
