ORDER IA No. 460 1. The State of V.P. has filed an application before us to permit it and the Divisional Director, Social Forestry Division, Agra to remove the trees on the roads as detailed hereunder: "(i) Kheria Airport Road to Taj Mahal (Eastern Gate) via Mall Road and Shashtri Crossing (Length 5.56 km) 613 (ii) Shashtri Crossing to Hotel Trident Crossing via Hotel Mughal Sheraton (Length 3 km) 107 (iii) Hotel Trident Crossing to 10th km milestone on Agra Fatehabad Road via J.P. Hotel (Length 3.06 km) 1177 (iv) J.P. Crossing to Taj Mahal Eastern Gate (Length 2.35 km 435 Total Trees 2332" 2. Mr Krishan Mahajan, learned amicus curiae in response to the said application has filed before us a report of the Monitoring Committee, annexing therewith a large number of photographs to show that apart from the trees shown therein, there would be no other trees. 3. Mr Dinesh Dwivedi, learned Senior Counsel for the State of U .P. submits that he has not received a copy of the said report. A copy of the said report is being handed over to Mr Anuvrat Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the State of U .P. Let response to the said report be filed within three weeks. IA No. 472 4. Issue notice to Naujhil Integrated Rural Project for Health and Development (NIRPHAD) to file an affidavit before us as to whether it is interested to continue to run the hospital in question. The Registry need not issue any notice. However, notice may be served upon the applicant itself. Put up after three weeks. 5. Until further orders, NIRPHAD shall continue to run the present arrangement. IA No. 470 6. Two weeks' time is granted for filing counter-affidavit to the application and one week's time thereafter is granted for filing rejoinder thereto.
