SUNIL GAUR, J. (Oral) 1. The application for withdrawal of this petition has been filed which is signed by both sides and is accompanied by the affidavits of both sides. It is stated by both sides that the matter has been amicably resolved by both sides out of the court. It is pointed out by learned counsel for the petitioner that in terms of order dated 1.4.2008 of this court, a sum of Rs.10,000/- has been deposited with the Registrar (Genl.) of this court. 2. Since the matter has been compromised, let the said amount be returned to the petitioner by way of cheque in the name of the petitioner and the said cheque be handed over to the counsel for the petitioner. 3. CM No.12280/08 is allowed and Writ Petition No.2661/2008 is dismissed as withdrawn. 4. No costs.
