ORDER : 1. Petitioner has sought for grant of bail in connection with Crime No. 198 of 2009 of J.J.R. Nagar Police Station, Bangalore, for the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 306 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 2. The marriage of the deceased with the petitioner is said to have taken place 14 years prior to the alleged incident. It is alleged in the compliant that due to mental and physical harassment meted out to the deceased by the petitioner, the deceased committed suicide by hanging. Based on which, a case has been registered against the petitioner. 3. It is stated that investigation has been completed and charge-sheet has been filed. Petitioner is said to be the permanent resident of Bangalore. Therefore, he may be granted the benefit of bail. 4. Accordingly, petition is allowed and bail is granted to the petitioner, subject to the following conditions.- 1. The petitioner shall be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for Rs. 50,000/- with one surety for the like sum to the satisfaction of the concerned Court. 2. He shall make himself available to the investigating agency as and when required. 3. He shall not tamper or attempt to tamper any of the prosecution witnesses. 4. He shall mark his attendance before the J.J.R. Nagar Police once in fortnight preferably on Sundays between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m., until further orders.
