JUDGEMENT 1. Heard the parties. 2. Petitioner was earlier member of one of the Board of Directors constituted in the past to look after the affairs of the Jagjivan Ram Institute of Parliamentary Studies and Political Research. He has preferred this writ petition in public interest to create awareness regarding the important role of this institute and activate the State Government to find out ways and means for better management and utilization of this institute in better public interest. 3. On behalf of the State a counter affidavit has been filed in which stand has been taken that the institute is doing useful work under the guidance of Human Resources Development Department, Government of Bihar. 4. Petitioner has suggested that as in the past, a Board of Directors may be constituted by the State Government so that eminent persons may be associated with affairs of the institute and it may. gain in stature and fame. 5. The petitioner has also placed reliance upon a report contained in Annexure-5 dated 31.1.06 and it has been submitted that the said report by a committee should be accepted and followed by the State Government. 6. While realizing the significance of the institute and its potentiality, this court would not like to interfere in the management of the institute which has been taken over by the State Government through legislation in the year 1986. It is expected that suggestions made by the petitioner shall be considered by the State Government and particularly, the Human Resources Development Department in proper perspective and if further decisions are required in larger public interest, such decisions shall be taken by the authorities themselves without intervention of this court. 7. The writ petition is disposed of.
