ORDER IA No. 460 1. An affidavit affirmed by Bishwajit Kumar Singh, Assistant Inspector General of Forests (FC Division), Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, has been placed before us. We are dismayed to see the state of affairs projected therein in regard to the cutting of trees. 2. Mr. Dwivedi, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the State seeks two weeks' time to file response to the said affidavit. List after four weeks. 3. It is suggested by the learned Solicitor General that the State of U.P. and/or the Agra Development Authority should prepare a comprehensive site plan showing blank spaces as also occupied spaces. The Forest Advisory Committee would make a survey and verify the correctness or otherwise of the site plan at the spot. It is urged that on the basis of such a map, all necessary steps both preventive and remedial, may be taken for implementation of the order of this Court. The Forest Advisory Committee, upon undertaking all the measures, shall file a status report before this Court within four weeks. 4. We, however, till further orders, direct the Agra Development Authority to see that all other or further constructions by the Public Works Department are stopped along the road. 5. It is stated at the Bar that pursuant to our order dated 16-3-2009, Mr. A.D.N. Rao has deposited a cheque for Rs. 20,000 in this Court. We recall the said order and direct the Registry to refund the said amount to Mr. AD.N. Rao. IA No. 485 6. Let a copy of this application be supplied to the Central Empowered Committee which may file a status report in regard to the same within four weeks. IA No. 487 7. Let Mr. Dhingra serve a copy of this application upon Mr. Krishan Mahajan (the learned amicus curiae), Mr. A.D.N.
