JUDGMENT Surya Kant, J. (Oral) - The petitioner seeks a direction for his appointment on priority basis in terms of Government Instructions dated 30.12.1996, as amended from time to time, on the plea that he is a victim of terrorist violence as his father and elder brother, both were killed at the hands of terrorists. It is urged that the petitioner was born on 25.05.1982 and was hardly six years old when he lost his father and brother. The mother of the petitioner is stated to have represented the authorities to consider the petitioners claim for employment in government service under some government policy, though no copy thereof has been placed on record. 2. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner at some length and keeping in view the nature of relief sought in this writ petition, however, without expressing any views on the merits thereof, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to consider the petitioners claim in the light of the Government Policy/Instructions and if he is found entitled, to grant the necessary relief within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. .
