Judgment :- K.RAVIRAJA PANDIAN, J. This petition is of the year 1998. As the case bundle is not available with the Registry in respect of this petition, it has been listed under the caption "EB not available cases". 2. When the matter is taken up today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3. The learned Government Advocate submits that the prayer sought for in this petition is to direct the respondents to conduct the Government function of celebrating the Thevar Jayanthi Day on every year on the 30th October as usual by the respondents both at Pasumpon, Ramanathapuram District and at Madurai as usual. He further submits that there is no untoward incident whenever the birth anniversary of Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar is celebrated. The said submission of the learned Government Advocate is recorded. The writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
