Judgment :- This civil revision petition is filed for a direction to direct the Principal Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai to dispose of the Election O.P.No.168 of 2007, pending on its file. 2. Heard both sides. 3. The learned counsel for the revision petitioner would make a supine submission to the effect that the civil revision petition has been focussed purely for the purpose of giving direction to the learned Principal Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai to dispose of the Election Petition as otherwise, the petition itself would become infructuous. 4. I could see considerable force in the submission made by the learned counsel for the revision petitioner and accordingly the learned Principal Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai is directed to dispose of the election O.P.No. 168 of 2007 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance. 5. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed of. No costs.
