JUDGEMENT 1. Petitioner-appellant filed an application dated 11.7.2006 before the Chairman, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi with a request to change the name of the minor son of the petitioner in the Secondary Board Certificate and the marks-sheet as Aditya Raj in place of Sauarabh Shubham. 2. It is the contention of the petitioner-appellant that the petitioner wants to change his present name as it is not lucky for him. 3. In a proceedings under Article 226 of the Constitution, the relief, as prayed for, cannot be entertained. 4. However, since the representations of the petitioner-appellant are pending before the C.B.S.E., we direct the Respondent No. 2, Chairman, C.B.S.E., Delhi to consider the representations of the petitioner-appellant and pass appropriate orders according to law as expeditiously as possible but, in any event, not later than three months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order. 5. The appeal stands disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
