JUDGEMENT 1. Petitioners father was in the Bomb Defusal Squad of CRPF and died while defusing bomb in the State of Jharkhand. State of Jharkhand and CRPF have heavily compensated the petitioners family. Including death-cum-retiral benefit, petitioners mother has been given a total compensation of about Rs. 38.94 lakhs. Now petitioner wants compassionate appointment. The same has been turned down on the ground that the petitioners family has been adequately compensated and there is no reasonable cause for grant of compassionate appointment. 2. In my view, the order does not call for interference. The compassionate appointment has to be given where suddenly the bread earner vanished leaving the family in starvation. Here petitioners family has been adequately compensated and there is no need for compassionate appointment. 3. The writ petition stands dismissed.
