JUDGMENT Deepak Gupta, J.(Oral):-This writ petition is directed against the order, dated 18th June, 2002, passed by H.P. State Administrative Tribunal in Original Application No.1009 of 2001. The respondent was working with the Forest Corporation. The services of the respondent were terminated on April 18, 2001. He challenged the order of his termination on the ground that his services could not have been terminated by invoking the provisions of Section 25-F of the Industrial Disputes Act and an inquiry should have been conducted. 2. The learned Tribunal came to the conclusion that the impugned order is stigmatic and in the nature of punishment and held that an inquiry should have been conducted. The impugned order was accordingly quashed and the petitioners were directed to re-engage the respondent. The respondent was admittedly re-engaged thereafter, but he has left the service and has joined the Education Department. We have been informed by Mr. Bhuvnesh Sharma, learned counsel for the respondent, that in fact the respondent has been regularized in the Education Department. 3. In view of these developments, nothing survives in the writ petition, which has become infructuous and the same is disposed of as such.
