CEC has examined the matter and suggested the following conditions: 1. the balance amount of Rs 6.591 crores deposited with the Jammu and Kashmir Wildlife Department will immediately be deposited in the Compensatory Afforestation Fund; 2. the MoEF will prescribe appropriate monitoring and evaluation mechanism to ensure proper utilisation of the funds; and 3. the State will comply with all the conditions laid down by the Standing Committee of National Board for Wildlife, including transfer of Lachhipura Wildlife Sanctuary to the State Wildlife Department. 6. IA allowed, subject to fulfilment of the above conditions. The order of this Court is modified to the above extent accordingly. IA No. 2547 7.
