JUDGMENT Ram Chand Gupta J.(Oral).:- The present petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.156 dated 22.12.2009, under Sections 420,467,468,471 and 511 IPC, registered at Police Station E-Division, Amritsar. 2. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the whole record carefully. 3. It has been stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has already joined the investigation in pursuance of order dated 29.1.2010, passed by this Court granting interim bail to him. 4. It has also been stated by learned counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Parveen Kumar that the petitioner has joined the investigation and that he is no more required for any custodial interrogation. 5. There are no allegations on behalf of the State that the petitioner is likely to abscond or that he is likely to dissuade the witnesses from deposing true facts in the Court, if released on bail. 6. In view of these facts and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition for anticipatory bail is accepted and order dated 29.1.2010, granting interim bail to the petitioner Surinder Kumar, is, hereby confirmed subject to the compliance of conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. The present petition stands disposed of accordingly. -----------------------
