JUDGMENT : S.C.Sharma, J.:- Inthe present case as stated by the petitioner MP Civil Service Examinations werenot held form 2005 to 2008 and the State Government took the policy decision togrant age relaxation by a period of 3 years vide notification dt . 23.3.08 age relaxation was also granted in respectexamination of 2009. The aforesaid relaxation was granted only because earlier, prior to 2007 the examination did not take place from 2005. However, in thepresent case the last examination took place in the year 2009 and earlier alsothe examination took place in the year 2008 and therefore it can never be saidthat Public Service Commission is not holding examination in respect of civilServices every year. Not only this the Division Bench of this Court in the caseof D.R. Sharma ( Dayaram Sharma) Vs. State of MP andors., (WRIT PETITION No. 1710/2008) dt . 5th September2008 has held that the matter of grant of age relaxation to all candidates ispurely a policy discretion of the State Government and this Court is of theconsidered opinion that it is certainly a purely policy matter which is at thediscretion of the State Government.
