ORDER In Re: States of Andhra Pradesh and Kamataka 1. Place the matter on 13-12-2010. In Re: State of West Bengal 2. The matter shall stand over to 13-12-2010 at the request of Mr Bhaskar P. Gupta, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the State of West Bengal. In Re: IA No.2 of 2010 - State of Madhya Pradesh 3. Place the matter on 13-12-2010. 4. In the meantime, the State of Madhya Pradesh shall file an affidavit regarding non-furnishing of utilisation certificates. In Re: Computerisation 5. Place the matter on 13-12-2010. Infrastructure in subordinate judiciary 6. We hereby direct the following eleven States/Union Territory to complete the ongoing projects mentioned in Column 15 of Formats B1 and D1 (compiled by the Registry) within six months from today. These States/Union Territory are: (1) Bihar; (2) Goa; (3) Jammu and Kashmir; (4) Jharkhand; (5) Kerala; (6) Lakshadweep; (7) Meghalaya; (8) Nagaland; (9) Orissa; (10) Sikkim; and (11) Tamil Nadu. 7. The Chief Secretary/Administrator of the respective eleven States/Union Territory will give response within two weeks from today to this order by which we have directed the States/Union Territory to complete the ongoing projects within six months from today. If the response is not filed within the stipulated period, it will be taken as if these States/Union Territory have no objection to complete the projects within six months. In case tie States/Union Territory have any difficulty in completing the projects within six months, they may express the same by way of affidavit within two weeks from today. In Re: Proposals pending before the Collectors 8. The Registry has prepared a list of proposals in Formats B1 and D1. Column 4 of Formats Bland D1 shows that 110 projects are pending in the form of; proposals for land acquisition with the Collectors as far as court buildings are concerned and 147 projects are pending in the form of proposals for land acquisition with the Collectors as far as residential quarters are concerned. We hereby direct the following eleven State Governments/Union Territory to file status report in this Court indicating the reasons for pendency of 110 projects as far as court buildings are concerned and 147 projects as far as residential quarters are concerned.
