JUDGMENT L.N. Mittal, J. (Oral).:- This is petition by landlords filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for directing learned Rent Controller, Chandigarh to expeditiously decide the ejectment petition filed by the petitioners against respondent-tenant. 2. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the case file. 3. The petitioners are senior citizens. Ejectment is sought on account of non payment of arrears of rent and on account of bonafide necessity. The ejectment petition is dated 27.8.2007 and respondent put in appearance through counsel on 15.10.2007. Written statement was filed on 29.1.2008 and replication was filed on 20.2.2008. 4. Keeping in view the aforesaid, the instant petition is allowed and Mr. Sunil Kumar, learned Rent Controller, Chandigarh is directed to decide the ejectment petition filed by the petitioners against the respondent as expeditiously as possible keeping in view the docket of the court. ----------------
