Judgment Ajai Lamba, J. 1. The petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing criminal complaint No. 403/1 of 8.9.2003 (Annexure P-2) titled `Kulwant Kaur V/s. Dharamjeet Singh & Others under Sections 304-B, 498-A, 506, 34 IPC pending in the Court of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Ludhiana, qua the petitioner. Challenge is also to order of summoning dated 15.5.2006 (Annexure P-5). 2. Learned counsel has contended that the petitioner is sister-in-law of daughter of respondent No. 4 - complainant. The petitioner was living in Rajgarh since the date of her marriage i.e. 26.3.1998. Dharamjeet Singh i.e. brother of the petitioner, was married to Mandeep Kaur (deceased) on 16.12.2005. 3. It has been brought out that two witnesses have already been examined. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that let the petition be disposed of as not pressed, however, personal appearance of the petitioner be exempted. 5. Considering the facts that petitioner was married in the year 1998 where- against her brother Dharamjeet was married in 2005; petitioner is a lady who has to take care of her own matrimonial responsibilities; and other circumstances as have been brought out from the petition, it is directed that appearance of the petitioner before the Trial Court shall remain exempt on the conditions to be imposed by that Court. With the above directions, the petition is disposed of as not pressed.
