Judgment K.Kannan, J. 1. The petitioner challenges the selection to the post as Lecturer in Psychology which was denied to her on the ground that she did not possess the necessary qualification. The eligibility was post graduate degree course in Psychology but the petitioner had degree in Psychology. 2. Although the petitioner had obtained an equivalence certificate that post graduate degree in Psychology would be treated as equivalent to degree in Applied Psychology, there is no need for consideration to petitioners claim because even otherwise the petitioner was found to have been placed lower in the order of merit than the candidates, who have been selected. The petitioner cannot obtain any relief before this Court and the writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. There shall be however no direction as to costs.
