JUDGMENT Ram Chand Gupta, J. (Oral):- The present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. read with Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for extension of parole granted to the petitioner for a period of two weeks. 2. Heard. 3. Order of parole has already been passed by competent authority in favour of the petitioner by exercising powers under Sections 3 and 4 of Punjab Prisoners Good Conduct (Temporary Release) Act, 1962, Annexure P3 and the petitioner was required to surrender before the Superintendent on 8.7.2010 before 5.00 p.m. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner without approaching the concerned authority under the Act for extension of parole. 4. Hence, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to approach the concerned authority, if so advised. ---------------
