JUDGMENT Sabina, J.:- Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.5 dated 15.01.2010, under Sections 135/151 of the Electricity Act, 2003, Police Station Saha, Ambala. 2. At the time of issuance of notice of motion on 04.02.2010, the following order was passed by this Court:- “Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the alleged offence is compoundable. The petitioner has already moved an application before the electricity department challenging the bill amounting to Rs.23,000/-. Notice of motion for 30.03.2010. In the meantime, in the event of arrest, the petitioner be admitted to interim bail subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. He shall be abide by the provisions of Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.”. 3. Learned State Counsel, who is assisted by ASI Mohinder Singh, has submitted that in terms of the above order, petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for further investigation. 4. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, the interim bail granted by this Court, vide order dated 04.02.2010 is made absolute. The petition stands disposed of accordingly. ------------
