Judgment :- Though the present writ petition is filed challenging the demand made by the 2nd respondent dated 21.4.2010 alleging the same as illegal and arbitrary, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the amount demanded by the 2nd respondent could be directed to be payable by the petitioner in six monthly installments. To this request, the learned counsel appearing for the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board may not have any objection. 2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, suffice it to direct the petitioner to pay the amount demanded by the 2nd respondent through his proceedings dated 21.04.2010 in six monthly installments, the first of which should be paid on or before 30.06.2010 and continue to pay on or before 15th of succeeding months. 3. The writ petition is ordered accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
