Judgment : Since the issues arising in all these writ petitions are similar in nature common order is passed. 2. These Writ petitions have been filed to quash the Impugned Order of the 1st respondent, disconnecting the electricity service connection, which had been granted to the petitioner, stating that the petitioners should get the approval from the Central Empowered Committee, New Delhi. 3. In view of the directions issued by the Supreme Court and in view of the undertaking given by the petitioner that the Saw Mill in question would not be run contrary to the directions issued by the Supreme Court and that the petitioners would not indulge in any activity contrary to the said directions and in view of the orders passed by this Court on 13.10.2009, in a batch of Writ Petitions in W.P. No. 19966 of 2009 etc.(batch), the first respondent is directed to restore the electricity service connection to the petitioners as prayed for, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that the petitioners shall not run the saw mill contrary to the directions issued by the Supreme Court. If the petitioners are found to be indulging in any activity contrary to the directions of the Supreme Court, the respondents are at liberty to take appropriate action against them, in the manner known to law. 4. The above Writ petitions are ordered accordingly. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
