Judgment Hon’ble Prafulla C. Pant, J. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. By means of this petition moved under section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure 1973(for short Cr.P.C.) the petitioner has sought quashing of the proceedings of criminal complaint case No. 948 of 2005, Chhote Lal vs. Manjeet Singh & others, relating to offences punishable under section 363, 366, 504, 506, I.P.C., pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate, Kashipur. 3. Complainant Chotte Lal is present in person alongwith his counsel. He states that he does not want to prosecute the petitioners. An application has been moved on behalf of the parties in which it is stated that the parties to the litigation have amicably settled the matter outside the court and the daughter of the respondent No. 2 regarding whom, it was alleged that she was abducted, has already been married and living peacefully with her husband (There is no first information report lodged of the incident). An affidavit has been filed by the respondent No. 2/complainant stating that he does not want to prosecute the petitioners. 4. In view of the above development, the petition under section 482 of Cr.P.C, is allowed and the proceedings of the criminal complaint case No. 948 of 2005, Chhote Lal vs. Manjeet Singh & others relating to offences punishable under section 363 366, 504, 506 I.P.C. pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate, Kashipur, are hereby quashed.
