Judgment :- Heard Ms.Manjula Baskar, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Murali, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first, third and fourth respondents and Mr.D.Veerasekaran, the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent. 2. Though the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.01.2010, sent to the fifth respondent, is directed to be disposed of, on merits, within a specified period. 4. The learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents, have no objection for such an order being passed by this Court. 5. Considering the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the fifth respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.01.2010, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the parties concerned, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish to the fifth respondent a copy of the representation submitted by him, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently connected M.P. is closed.
