Judgment :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsels appearing for the respondents. 2. In spite of the matter being adjourned on several occasions, the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, had not filed the inspection report, as directed by this Court. 3. In view of the earlier orders passed by this Court, directing the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, to receive the application of the petitioner and to provide water and sewarage connections to the petitioners premises in question, without insisting on the completion certificate/No objection certificate from the concerned authorities , wherever it was found that there were only minor deviations in the construction of the buildings, the second respondent is directed to provide water and sewarage connections to the petitioners premises, at Plot No.49, Sringeri Mutt Road, Ramakrishna Nagar, Chennai comprised in R.S.No.3959/25. Block No.87 of Mylapore Division, Mylapore – Triplicane Taluk, without insisting on the completion certificate/No objection certificate from the authorities concerned, if the deviations found in the construction of the building is only minor in nature. However, it is open to the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authoritiy to take appropriate action, with regard to the deviations in the construction of the building, in accordance with law. 4. The second respondent is directed to accept the application of the petitioner and to grant water and sewarage connection to the petitioners premises, as prayed for by him, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order, subject to the petitioner complying with the requirements, as prescribed by law, including the payment of the necessary charges. This Writ Petition is ordered accordingly. No costs.
