Judgment :- 1. Mr.G.Jermiah, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on instructions submitted that he is withdrawing the Writ Petition and liberty may be granted to the petitioner to submit an application to the first respondent for re-connection of the electricity service connection No.283-005-246 to his premises at Arakkonam and he also made an endorsement to that effect. 2. Heard the submissions of Mr.P.Srinvas, learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent – Electricity Board and Mr.R.Parthasarathy, Senior Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent. 3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn and the petitioner is at liberty to submit an application to the 1st respondent for re-connection of electricity service connection No.283-005-246 to the petitioners premises at LIG – 308-I, Tamilnadu Housing Board, Arakkonam, Vellore District within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and the 1st respondent on receipt of the same is directed to issue notice to the 2nd respondent and after hearing both parties, is directed to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks thereafter. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
