Judgment :- At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the second and the third respondents had submitted that no land has been acquired, in survey No.16/1A of Balakrishnapuram (alias) Baleeshwarankandigai Village, Gummidipoondi Taluk, Thiruvallur District, for the purpose of Chennai -Tada Section of National Highway No.5 Project. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the second and third respondents had further submitted that the competent authority, by its communication, dated, 20.01.2010, had also stated that no such acquisition is being made, as alleged by the learned counsel for the petitioner. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the second and third respondents, no further orders are required to be passed in the present Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
