Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents had filed an additional counter affidavit, dated 23.11.2010, on behalf of the second respondent. Paragraph No.10 of the said additional counter affidavit reads as follows: "10. As per the note of the Honble Court, to organize demonstration by the petitioner, there are two places are approved for demonstration by Avinashi P.S. such as i) Dr.Balachandar Hospital Junction and ii) Opposite to new bus stand western side of Kannan Departmental store as well as two approved meeting places such as i) Cheyur road, Sengadu and ii) Southern side of Kulalar Kalayanamandapam, West Car Street, Avinashi. Therefore, the petitioner may be given directions to hold either demonstration or meeting at the above said places as and when and desired by the petitioner except on important and vital occasions. Further directions to the petitioner may be accorded to obtain proper permission from the jurisdictional Police Station to hold either demonstration or meeting to any one of the places referred above." 3. In view of the averments made in Paragraph No.10 of the additional counter affidavit filed on behalf of the second respondent, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that a fresh representation would be made, making a request to the respondents to grant permission, to hold the demonstration in the places mentioned in the said paragraph. 4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and in view of the averments made in Paragraph No.10 of the additional counter affidavit filed on behalf of the second respondent, the petitioner is permitted to make a representation to the second respondent, if so advised, for holding a demonstration in the places mentioned in the said paragraph. As and when such representation is made, the second respondent is to consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. The writ petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
