Judgment :- 1. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted before this Court a memo of settlement, dated 4.12.2010, which reads as follows: "The above-mentioned writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for the refund of the tuition fees and other fees paid by him to the second respondent College upon the transfer of his son to the third respondent College on account of reallocation of college during the second round of counseling conducted by the first respondent for I year BDS course. It is stated that the petitioner herein, has received a sum of Rs.85,000 only (Eighty Five thousand rupees only) by way of Demand draft bearing No.431890, dated 2.12.2010, drawn on the South Indian Bank Ltd., Chennai Service Branch in favour of the petitioner herein from the second respondent College viz. Rajas Dental College and Hospital, Vadakkangulam, towards refund of the tuition fee and other fees paid by him. This is in full and final settlement of all dues payable to the petitioner on behalf of his minor son by the II Respondent College. The petitioner undertakes to withdraw W.P.No.22417 of 2010, pending before the Madras High Court" 2. In view of the memo of settlement, dated 4.12.2010, since, no further orders are necessary, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
