JUDGMENT Dev Darshan Sud, J.-The prayer made by the petitioner in this petition is for regularization of his services as Chowkidar. Prior to this, the petitioner had challenged his termination by the respondents and an industrial dispute was raised in which the Labour Court made an award in favour of the petitioner herein. 2. The petitioner pleads that the State has a policypursuant to which its employees are granted not only work charged status but regularization also. It is but expected that the case of the petitioner will be treated in accordance with the policy so formulated. Needless to say that he will be regularized in his due turn in accordance with the policy(s) in force and uniformly applied by the State. This writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with the directions:- (a) That this petition shall be treated as a representation by the State and shall be disposed of in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date when the petitioner first puts in appearance before respondent No.2. (b) The petitioner shall be heard in person by respondent No.2 before passing any order. (c) Liberty reserved to the petitioner to approach this Court in-case any order adverse to his interest is passed by the respondent. There shall be no order as to costs. All interim orders are vacated. All miscellaneous applications are disposed of.
