ORDER 1. This writ petition is filed to to direct the respondent to refix the seniority of the petitioner from the date of his initial appointment namely 02.03.1983 and place him in the appropriate place and promote him as Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade – I and consequently grant all monetary benefits. 2. At this point of time, the petitioner would have superannuated. Therefore the substantive relief sought for cannot be granted. However, if the petitioner is entitled to any other service benefits, he is at liberty to make a representation within three months from the date of receipt of this order to the respondent for appropriate relief. As and when such representation is made, the respondent shall consider and dispose of the same on merits within a reasonable period of time. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
